  2. Just listened to Jamie Cox on Varney on 2/5/19. Cox cites the “debt bomb” and advises people to diversify from stocks into bonds and, better yet, treasuries. Varney politely challenged Cox. Cox reiterated.
    Me: 80, put $ in 401b from 1973 – 1996. 95% in stocks. Would avoid Cox advice 100%!!??
    Advice like this to persons retiring at age 65 would rob them of gains like I have had for 15 years! Diversification means trading…which means costs…which means less profit & less in stocks decreases long run gains. Advice from Cox imho, backed by my portfolio, among worst on Varney! Believe in America and buy stocks in American companies via a broad based no load fund.
